The former president of the United States does not want to “create a conflict of interest.”
The 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, rejected the offer of the head of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to come to Ukraine.
The former head of the United States announced this in an interview with Newsmax TV channel.
“I have great respect for President Zelensky, but I think that it would be inappropriate to go to Ukraine at this time. Now the Biden administration (the current US President – ed.) is dealing with him, so I would not want to create a conflict of interest,” Trump said.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky invited US President Donald Trump to Kyiv to explain to him everything about ending the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine in 24 minutes.
According to Zelensky, Trump will not be able to negotiate peace with Kremlin head Vladimir Putin only if he is determined to give up Ukrainian territories and independence, as he previously stated.
At the same time, according to Trump, if he were president, he would have agreed with Ukraine and Russia on a “fair and fair agreement for all,” according to which Putin allegedly “did not want” to seize more Ukrainian territories. He even received praise from the President of the Russian Federation for such an idea.
