The US President Donald trump has denied recent media information about his desire to put his picture next to the bas-reliefs of four American presidents on mount Rushmore in South Dakota. About this he wrote on his Twitter page.
“This is a false news from a failure New York Times and TV channel with low ratings CNN”, — said the tramp. He added that he never offered to place your bas-relief on the memorial. However, trump called the idea to immortalize it on the mountain good, considering “all that has been achieved over the first 3.5 years” of his presidency.
Previously, the newspaper The New York Times, citing sources in the Republican party said that trump told the Governor of South Dakota in the oval office about his desire to have his face appeared in one row with four sculptures of the founding fathers of the country.
The sculptures on mount Rushmore were erected in the years 1927-1941. They portray the four American presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
