Trump resigns from Screen Actors Guild

Former US President Donald Trump resigned from the Screen Actors Guild of the United States. This is reported by Fox News with reference to Trump's letter to the organization.

“With this letter I inform you of my immediate departure from the Guild. You have not done anything for me, ”the message of the former head of state says.

Screen Actors Guild officials in response to Trump's statement replied succinctly, “Thank you.” It is noted that the Screen Actors Guild of the United States is a trade union that represents the interests of film and television artists, as well as other workers in the American industry.

Trump, who joined the organization in 1989, is best known as an actor for Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, in which he played a bystander who showed the way to protagonist Kevin McCallister. The filming of this film took place at the Plaza Hotel, which at that time belonged to Trump.
