US President Donald Trump said that he would do a great favor to Russia and its President Vladimir Putin if he agrees to conclude an agreement to end the war in Ukraine. Otherwise, the American leader threatens Russia with tough sanctions.
Trump wrote about this on his own social network, Truth Social.
According to the US President, if an agreement to end the war is not concluded, he will have no choice but to impose high taxes, duties, and sanctions on everything that Russia sells.
At the same time, Trump said that he “does not want to harm Russia” because he “loves the Russian people” and has always had good relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In this context, the US President mentioned World War II, which, according to him, Russia helped the United States win, “losing almost 60 million lives in the process.” Donald Trump has thus demonstrated his ignorance of the national composition of the Soviet Union and has tripled the number of “Russian”, i.e. Soviet, victims.
“Let's end this war that would never have started if I were President! We can do it the easy way or the hard way – and the easy way is always better. It's time to “Make a Deal”. NOT ANY MORE LIFE MUST BE LOST!” the US President wrote, switching to caps lock.
Recall that after the inauguration, US President Donald Trump spoke about his promise to “end the war in Ukraine in a day” and said that he would try to do this as soon as possible.
