“I spoke with the King of Saudi Arabia [Salman bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud]. I think they will join [the reconciliation agreement with Israel] at the right time, ”the American leader stressed. In his opinion, in addition to this, five or six more countries can join the truce.
We are talking about agreements on reconciliation between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain. The documents were signed in the presence of Trump at the White House on September 15. Under the agreement, Bahrain and the UAE will recognize the State of Israel, while it will suspend the spread of sovereignty to Jewish settlements in the West Bank. In a joint statement, the countries announced that the move would allow further progress towards peace throughout the Middle East.
