According to the journalist, Trump really does complain a little about Musk being around him often.
US President-elect Donald Trump privately complains to his entourage that he doesn't like the annoyingness of billionaire and inventor Elon Mask.
New York Times journalist and political analyst Maggie Gaberman said this, The Daily Beast reports.
Donald Trump publicly shows delight that his mega-donor and “first buddy” Elon Musk has settled near his home. In private, Trump seems tired of Musk popping in whenever he wants.
“Trump does complain to people a little bit about Musk being around a lot… He's constantly under Trump's nose,” the journalist says.
The publication notes that Trump hasn't even taken office yet, and Musk has already become so embroiled in political battles that Democrats have called him “President Musk.”
According to the journalist, Musk seems more inclined to irritate Trump than some of his other advisers. The fact that Musk is willing and able to fund a lot of things probably gives him more time with Trump than others, but it's still a difficult relationship.
Earlier, British politicians called on Trump to reconsider his relationship with Elon Musk.
