Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump invited his Democratic rival Joe Biden to condemn anti-fascist groups. Prior to this, Trump emphasized that he condemns the white supremacists. The statements of the American leader were aired on FOX News, TASS reports.

During the debate, the head of the United States did not express clearly his condemnation of the “ultra-right groups” and “supporters of white supremacy” – this is the name of the conservative group “Proud Boys” (“Proud Boys”). This gave the media a reason to say that Trump refused to speak negatively about racists and radicals.

“I condemn the Ku Klux Klan. I condemn all white supremacists. I condemn the Proud Boys. I know practically nothing about them, but I condemn them, ”the head of state said. And, in turn, he invited the representative of the “left” Democratic Party Biden to condemn the ultra-left “antifa” movement, involved in organizing protests and riots in American cities.

“He must condemn Antifa. This is a terrible group of people. They provoke riots and riots, ”the agency quoted Trump as saying.

This is not the first time the president has drawn attention to the role of anti-fascist groups in mass protests. In May 2020, he announced that the Antifa movement would be officially recognized as a terrorist organization in the United States. Opponents of this decision emphasize that there is no single organization with such a name, but Trump insists that various ultra-left groups are coordinating efforts between different US cities.
