The headquarters of the current US President Donald Trump decided to close its hotline after it received a stream of false calls from supporters of Democrats, according to NBC News.
Now Trump supporters will only be able to report fraud through a dedicated website.
Initially, the hotline was opened so that Americans could report violations in the presidential election. After a while, the headquarters began to receive calls from supporters of Trump's opponent Joe Biden. Prank fans called and hung up, according to ABC News. The son of the American leader believed that the National Committee of the Democratic Party of the United States (DNC) was to blame for what was happening. It is noted that pranks with calls to the Trump headquarters hotline have become a trend on the TikTok social network.
Earlier, Donald Trump explained the victory in the presidential elections to Joe Biden. According to the head of the White House, this was possible thanks to falsifications.
Democrat Joe Biden proclaimed himself elected President of the United States on November 7 – according to various estimates, he received from 273 to 290 electoral votes against the required 270. Trump responded by saying that his rival was in a hurry to call himself the new president.
