Trump headquarters asked to stop processing ballots in Nevada

by alex

The headquarters of US presidential candidate Donald Trump has asked the Nevada Supreme Court to stop processing ballots in Clark County, based in Las Vegas, received by mail-order voting. It is reported by the NBC News TV channel.

Republicans are asking for more control over the counting system.

The incumbent president previously spoke out strongly against voting by mail. In his opinion, in this case, the elections will be vulnerable to interference from abroad. In particular, Trump allowed other countries to intercept ballots or print forgeries.

Representatives of the Democratic Party have repeatedly expressed doubts about the willingness of the incumbent to leave the White House in case of defeat in the elections. For example, former US Secretary of State and Democratic candidate for the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton, noted that Trump may try to challenge the election results, citing violations committed during the mail vote.
