Russian President Vladimir Putin is seeking to “go all the way” by continuing the war against Ukraine and killing people
US President Donald Trump announced this to journalists on board the presidential plane Air Force One, Cnews reports .
“This is a very difficult situation. I told you before that I was very unhappy with my conversation with President Putin. He wants to go all the way to continue killing people, and that's not right,” Trump said.
The American leader also said that no progress had been made on ending Russia's war against Ukraine during the July 3 conversation. Trump stressed that Putin had been informed of possible new US sanctions that could be imposed in response to the Kremlin's actions.
