Donald Trump and Joe Biden
US President Donald Trump made a fuss at his rival, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, who allegedly disregards coronavirus prevention guidelines. He wrote about this on Twitter.
The American leader advised the press to pay attention to the fact that Biden “coughs, coughs up and touches his mask with his fingers everywhere.” He complained that this information was being hushed up. “Journalism has reached the lowest level in history. It is sad that these so-called leading media know about this and do not care, ”the head of state complained.
Earlier, Trump accused Biden of not having a plan to fight the coronavirus. “His fight against the H1N1 swine flu was disastrous. He had no idea what his own chief of staff was talking about. If Biden were in charge, perhaps 2.2 million people would die from this [coronavirus] much more deadly disease! ” – said the head of the White House.
The current head of state and his wife Melania Trump contracted the coronavirus on October 2. The American leader was treated at the Walter Reed military hospital, a few days later antibodies to the infection were found in his blood and was discharged from the hospital.
The first Biden-Trump debate took place on September 29 at the auditorium of Case Western River University in Cleveland, Ohio. The next ones are scheduled for October 22nd. The US presidential election will take place on November 3.
