US President Donald Trump compared the problems for the state arising from the actions of China and Russia. He speculated about this during a press conference at the White House, reports TASS.
Thus, according to the head of state, Beijing creates more foreign policy and other problems for the United States than Moscow. “I think we have more problems because of China than because of Russia. I think China is a much bigger problem [for us than Russia], ”he stressed.
The American leader explained that, in particular, because of the “plague” that came to the United States from China (as he called the coronavirus – approx. “Lenta.ru” ), the American economy suffered significant damage. At the same time, this happened at a time when “she showed such results that have never been before.”
Trump assured that the United States is beginning to gradually open after the forced tough quarantine measures and that the country's economy will soon return to good performance.
Earlier, Trump named China, Russia and India as world leaders in environmental pollution. He accused his opponent, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, of wanting to give these countries “free passage”, thereby worsening the environmental situation. “They first need to clear their territories, and we – ours,” – said the head of the White House.
