About US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced this during a joint press conference with Guatemalan President Bernardo Arevalo.
According to him, only those projects that contribute to the national interests of the United States will continue to operate.
“And those who do not do this will not continue. This is not about stopping foreign aid. This is about structuring it in such a way as to contribute to the national interests of the United States,” the Secretary of State said.
Recall that earlier, Marco Rubio emphasized that foreign aid should serve exclusively to advance the national interests of the United States, and not be charity.
