The incumbent US President Donald Trump believes that the Supreme Court “let down” the country by its decision not to accept the lawsuit of the State of Texas to review the results of the presidential election.
“The Supreme Court has really let us down. No wisdom, no courage! ” – he wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, Reuters reported that the US Supreme Court refused to consider the Texas lawsuit, which demanded to invalidate the election results in several states.
The lawsuit filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton notes that the voting in the “fluctuating” states – Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin and Michigan – was in violation of the Constitution due to illegal changes by local authorities in electoral legislation under the pretext of the coronavirus pandemic.
Trump demanded to include him in a lawsuit by the state of Texas to review the results of the presidential election in the country as an interested person.
