Former US President Donald Trump has declared his unwillingness to create a new party. RIA Novosti reports.
“We have the Republican Party,” he said during a speech at the Political Conservatives Conference (CPAC). Also, the former head of the White House expressed confidence that the Republicans will demonstrate unprecedented unity in the future elections, and the Democrats will “decisively lose”.
Trump also did not rule out that he will nominate himself in the next presidential elections. He stated that he won the 2020 elections and added that “who knows? I might even decide to beat them a third time, ”he suggested.
Earlier, US Republican Senator Mitt Romney assessed the chances of Trump's nomination for president in 2024. According to him, if Trump makes such a decision, the Republican Party will support his candidacy. Romney indicated that he would not vote for Trump himself, just like he did not vote last time.
