Former US President Donald Trump has accused US officials of lying about Russia, writes RIA Novosti.
According to the agency, at a rally of his supporters in Florence, Arizona, Trump said that these lies interfered with the work of his administration. “The most difficult country to deal with is the United States. We have some crazy people who created these fakes: “Russia, Russia, Russia”. All fabricated, all created,” said the former US leader. He stressed that the same scheme was used against him, accusing him of ties with Moscow. After the 2016 presidential election, the country's authorities launched an investigation into Trump's relationship with Russia and its interference in the voting results.
Earlier, Trump said that the US has never been at such a “low level” as it is now. According to him, other states have not yet shown such disrespect for Washington. “From China, Russia, North Korea,” Trump said. “There has never been such a time.”
