Trudeau: Canada will open the border to fully vaccinated foreigners in the fall

Canadian authorities may open state borders to fully vaccinated citizens of all countries of the world in early September, said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

“If the current positive dynamics of vaccination rates continues, and the health status of the population does not change, then Canada will be able to accept fully vaccinated travelers from all countries in early September,” – said in the final communique released by the press service of the head of government.

According to Trudeau, Ottawa and Washington are now discussing the possibility of opening the Canadian border to fully vaccinated Americans in mid-August. It is not specified who vaccinated with what drugs will be allowed to enter Canada. The authorities promised to announce the details of these plans of the government next week.
