The first group of 13 Israeli Hamas hostages will be released on Friday, November 24 at 16:00.
On Thursday, November 23, a spokesman for the Qatari Foreign Ministry said that the temporary truce between Israel and Hamas will take effect on Friday, November 24, at 7 a.m., and the first group of Israeli hostages will be released on the same day at 4:00 p.m. 00.
This was reported by The Times of Israel.
Thirteen Israelis, women and children, are expected to return from captivity by Hamas. After this, Palestinian prisoners will be released from Israeli prisons.
Hamas's military wing also said the ceasefire would take effect Friday morning and last four days.
“In four days, 50 [hostages] will be released,” the Iz ad-Din al-Qassam brigade said, confirming reports that three Palestinian terrorism prisoners would be released in exchange for every Israeli hostage.
That is, a total of 150 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel for terrorist crimes, all of them women or minors, will be released from Israeli prisons.
Previously it was believed that a pause in fighting would begin only after the release of the first group of Israeli hostages.
The agreement on a truce and the release of hostages was concluded through the mediation of Qatar and the United States.
Let us recall that it was previously reported that Israel and Hamas will hold the first hostage exchange no earlier than Friday due to the need to agree on conditions.
