The German Parliament said that the AdN party had betrayed the people of Germany.
In the German Bundestag, government and opposition deputies criticized the pro-Russian far-right the Alternative for Germany party, due to its connections with the Kremlin regime of the moment, and also because the assistant to the MEP from this party, Maximilian Kra, was arrested for possible espionage in benefit of Beijing.
This is reported by AP.
The report indicates that during a debate in the German parliament, the representative of the government coalition from the Free Democrats, Konstantin Kuhle, said that China and Russia were conducting espionage work in Germany due to the “existence of a right-wing extremist party… which is ready to pick up any narrative from the PRC and the Russian Federation and disseminate it.”
“It must therefore be said very clearly: the AfN is the weak point of German democracy when it comes to defending our liberal democracy,” he said.
In turn, the representative of the opposition bloc CDU/CSU Mark Heinrichmann said that the AdN party had betrayed the people of Germany, commenting on recent accusations against the far right, he said: “Today Russia, tomorrow China.”
Ada representative Stefan Keuter accused liberal politicians of trying to “distract attention from their own political failure.”
Recall that it was previously reported that an official was arrested in Germany for spying for the Russian Federation.
In addition, we previously informed that The German Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian Ambassador due to the detention of Moscow agents in Bavaria.
