The Wolfsberger AC managed to surprise. The new trainer was introduced on Wednesday – a prominent name.
As the Lavanttaler announced, Robin Dutt will be on the sidelines of the Bundesliga fifth in the coming season. For the 56-year-old German, it is the first coaching station abroad.
“Dietmar Riegler and Christian Puff (Vice President) have convinced me personally and athletically of this task and I am looking forward to this task,” said Dutt in a first statement.
“Robin Dutt was the favorite for the coaching position right from the start. We have had many good and productive discussions in the past that were based on a high level of mutual respect. With his great experience and professionalism, he will help us to achieve our goals,” said Klub -Boss Riegler.
In his long coaching career, Dutt has already worked as a coach in Freiburg, Leverkusen, Werder Bremen and, most recently, Bochum, and was also sports director at the DFB and in Stuttgart.
Roman Stary will remain an interim coach until the end of the season, after which he will resume his role as sports coordinator.
