The tragedy occurred at a private display of military equipment near Horni Dvoščiste.
An armored personnel carrier overturned in the southern Czech Republic on January 18 during a display of historical military equipment. As a result of the incident, two people died.
This was reported by the Czech police.
“We are investigating the tragedy that occurred near Horni Dvoščiste in the area of the disappeared village of Svatomirov. During the demonstration of historical military equipment, a military vehicle overturned, and several people were injured. Unfortunately, two people died on the spot,” the report says.
It also became known that as a result of the incident, at least 8 people were injured.
The fire department provided assistance to doctors and took measures to prevent the leakage of oil products from the overturned vehicle.
The mayor of the city of Horni Dvoršite, Zdeněk Kemeny, noted that the show was a private event organized by the local military-historical association.
Recall that in the city of Most in the northwest of the Czech Republic, six people died as a result of an explosion in a restaurant. According to preliminary data, the cause of the explosion was a heater that overturned and caused a fire.
