– The result of a psychiatric examination established that a 16-year-old suspect in an accident at the intersection of Gagarin Avenue and Odessa Street, which happened on October 26, 2021 , is sane, & # 8212; he noted.
He added that this means that during an accident, Kharkiv does not yet have a mental disorder, dementia or other morbid state of the psyche.
– According to the mental state, the suspect could and can be aware of his actions and control them, & # 8212; Chubenko noticed.
According to Chubenko, the initiators of the examination were the investigators. In the criminal case, about 15 examinations have been assigned, there are already two results: psychiatric and genetic.
A resonant accident in Kharkov with the participation of a 16-year-old teenager occurred on the evening of October 26 in the city center. Driving an Infiniti car, the guy drove through a red light at a speed of over 170 km/h.
He crashed into a Chevrolet passenger car, the 58-year-old driver of which died on the spot from his injuries. The Infiniti driver was not seriously injured, but three passengers of the foreign car received injuries of varying severity, they were hospitalized.
Criminal proceedings were instituted against Kharkivsky under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules). On October 28, he was detained without bail.
