Jet ski tourists scare seal herd off Cornwall.
A herd of seals, resting on the rocks off the coast of Cornwall, was forced to jump into the sea in a panic, as they were frightened by three tourists on jet skis.
The Daily Mail writes about this.
< p> As it became known, the incident occurred off the coast of Cornwall in the UK. There, the family on water bikes reached the rocks, on which a herd of seals was resting.
The animals were so frightened of the tourists that they immediately began to jump into the sea.
“If they are frightened, seals on land are at risk get seriously injured from the pasture as they race over the rocks back to the safety of the sea. They are also at risk of falling from heights, which can lead to broken bones or sometimes fatal injuries,” writes the Daily Mail.
That is why local animal rights activists have warned vacationers about the risk of injury to animals – in particular, seals, dolphins and other marine life.
This is the second time in as many weeks that the charity has issued a warning and advice to beach users and visitors to leave the seals alone.
Recall that the court sent a propagandist Ovsyannikov under house arrest in the case of “military fakes”.
