The BET Hip Hop Awards announced the winners of 2021. 26-year-old Lil Baby was named the main hip-hop artist. It is reported by Billboard.
Best Rap Album was Call Me If You Get Lost, recorded by Tyler, The Creator. Best song was named WAP track by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. They also won Best Collaboration and Best Video.
Yung Bleu won the Breakthrough of the Year nomination. In the category related to texts, J.Cole took first place.

- Hustler of the Year – Saweetie;

Last year WAP became the BBC's song of the year. It took leading positions in European and American charts and became the first in terms of the number of searches on Google. In second place was the remix of the track Savage by Megan Thee Stallion and American singer Beyoncé. The third place was taken by the composition of the French singer Christine and the Queens People I've Been Sad.
