In Kyiv, a 59-year-old man was exposed and detained for illegally storing explosives and weapons. In addition, Stalin's Orthodox admirer turned out to be a collector of forbidden communist symbols.
The incident occurred in the Podolsky district of the capital. Investigators have determined that the suspect is in the Peacemaker database. The reason is the active participation in the information campaigns of the Kremlin against Ukraine.

In the attic of his house, a 59-year-old resident of Kiev kept:
- revolver of the Nagant system;
- two TNT checkers.
In the house, the men also found figurines and paintings depicting Joseph Stalin. The suspect placed icons and St. George ribbons nearby.
Currently, criminal proceedings are open only under Part 1 of Art. 263 (Illegal acquisition and storage of firearms and explosives without a legal permit) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Colleagues from the SBU are checking the detainee for involvement in the commission of crimes against the foundations of the National Security of Ukraine.
As of March 13, a measure of restraint in the form of detention in a pre-trial detention center has already been chosen for the man. He could face three to seven years in prison.
