Ukrainian pilots were allowed to conduct a test flight on the Swedish fourth-generation fighter Gripen.
This is stated in a written statement by Defense Minister Paul Johnson, writes Aftonbladet .
“The training is completed, and according to the report I received from the Armed Forces, the training went well,” the publication quotes him as saying.
According to him, orientation training includes test flights on both the aircraft and the simulator, as well as briefings for ground staff.
In May of this year, the government announced that Sweden had decided to invite Ukrainian pilots and ground staff to orientation training on the Gripen.< /p>
