In the Cherkasy region, a terrorist attack in one of the colleges was prevented. As reported in the Security Service of Ukraine, two students spread threats to carry out a mass execution of their classmates.
They published information about the preparation of the terrorist attack on the social network Vkontakte, banned in Ukraine.
– It was established that two students of the local college via the Internet disseminated messages with photo and video materials about the planning of the mass execution of classmates , & # 8212; told the SBU.
According to the investigation, on social networks, the attackers also urged others to join them.
During searches at the place of residence of the attackers, two pistols were found, and also computer equipment and communications, which contained evidence of criminal intent.
All seized items were transferred for examination.
The SBU investigators have already opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 14 h. 1 tbsp. 258 (terrorist act) of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions continue.
