Such an alarming statement was made by the authorized representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for human rights Lyudmila Denisova.
– Pavel has a chronic disease – bilateral purulent sinusitis, which at any time can cause inflammation of the meninges and even an abscess of the head brain, and also become a source of generalized infection. In addition, he has been diagnosed with myocarditis and kidney damage, the ombudsman sounds the alarm.
It is not known whether he needs medical assistance, because representatives of the occupation administration of the Russian Federation in ORDO do not allow relatives to see Pavel.
– Such actions against Pavel Korsun are violations not only of Ukrainian legislation, but also norms of international law, in particular the Geneva Conventions of 1949 on the rules of warfare, the additional protocols to the Geneva Conventions of 1977 and the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of 1950, emphasizes Lyudmila Denisova.

What is known about Pavel Korsun
Pavel Korsun is a senior soldier of the 53rd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since May 31, 2016 he served in the armed conflict zone in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
On May 22, 2019, he and seven other servicemen were illegally detained in the area of the Novotroitskoye settlement of the Volnovakhsky district of the Donetsk region while crossing the Berezovoe-2 checkpoint as part of the assignment.
Five of them – Alexander Geymur, Kim Duvanov, Boris Pundor, Maxim Goryaev, Viktor Shaida were released as part of an exchange.
