This year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to vaccinate at least 60% of the total number of employees against COVID-19, TASS reports.
As noted in the department, the heads of the police departments are focused on vaccination of at least 60% of employees who have not previously had COVID-19 and do not have antibodies.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the maximum vaccination coverage of the permanent staff, as well as cadets of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The department also noted that the ministry is taking the necessary measures to counter the spread of coronavirus among employees who are at high risk.
Also, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has strengthened control over the implementation of preventive measures in the performance of official duties in public places and contacts with people.
We will remind that earlier the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu said that the main composition of the Russian Armed Forces was vaccinated against coronavirus. According to him, to date, over 900 thousand people have received the vaccine.
