Instead of supporting the tools available in Android for interacting with the camera, they create their own “crutches”. Moreover, brands do not disclose the secrets of their solutions to application developers.
In turn, Apple, on the contrary, does not prevent third-party developers from using all the benefits of iOS when creating software. Due to this, the same Filmic Pro works much better than the standard iPhone camera application.
Interestingly, even the Pixel is not a lifeline in the Android world. For an unclear reason, the search giant itself does not use the APIs built into its system, thereby preventing the creators of software from using the capabilities of the smartphone camera to the fullest.
