After his resignation, it became quiet around Hannes Reichelt. Now the 41-year-old has found a new job.
After 19 seasons in the Ski World Cup, the speed specialist announced the end of his career in March. After Reichelt enjoyed his free time in the last few months, the Super-G world champion from 2015 now wants to start again.
Before the World Cup kick-off with the giant glacier slalom in Sölden, it was announced that the 41-year-old had found a new job: as a consultant for his long-standing ski company Salomon.
“I am happy that I can now enjoy my first season as an outsider. But skiing is not going to let me go,” said Reichelt, reporting his new field of activity. And added: “I am pleased to be able to contribute my decades of experience.”
However, Reichelt left it open in which areas the former ÖSV star will be active in the future.
