“This is not funny at all”: the National Security and Defense Council responded to the report of a British journalist about DPRK soldiers

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine commented on information from British Financial Times journalist Gideon Rachman regarding the receipt of free access to the Internet and excessive interest in porn sites of North Korean soldiers in the Russian Federation.

This was stated in a message from the head of the Center for Political Studies of the National Security and Defense Council of the Russian Federation, Andrey Kovalenko.

“I believe that representatives of the Financial Times should not try to hype up the topic of the DPRK and talk about the “Internet and pornography” that North Koreans have gained access to. This is not funny at all,” wrote Andrey Kovalenko.

He called the fact that the DPRK military will fight where it would not have been if the West had continued to demonstrate force not funny.

“They will fight and they will have to be killed, wasting our resources at a time when “for now, everyone is extremely concerned. It's not funny that, despite this situation, the West is joking and downplaying the problem,” Kovalenko added.

He stressed that such a reaction is unacceptable, because it leads to delays and serious consequences.

“In a few years, those who survive will teach others in the DPRK together with Russian instructors, and the drones will already be flying off in the direction of Seoul. It's all very sad when instead of an adequate reaction you read such nonsense,” he said.

Recall that the DPRK troops have already entered into battle with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov confirmed this on November 5. According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, now we are not talking about large-scale military operations, but only about several “small clashes.”
