Annalena Burbock spoke about the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock commented on why Germany delays the supply of weapons to Ukraine, and when we will receive the IRIS anti-aircraft missile system -T.
She spoke about this in an interview with DW.
“This is not a race for a place in the rankings. It is about the support of Ukraine from the entire international community, NATO member countries. That is why we combine our support. For example, we supply howitzers to Ukraine together with the Netherlands, partly we try to get ammunition from other countries if we do not have the necessary ones.I think this is the advantage of our support, we do not act We work separately, but unite our efforts. Therefore, I think it is important that we work together, and not against each other,” she said.
According to Burbock, Germany's problem, like many European states, is that its own stocks are not all that Ukraine needs.
“Therefore, we will send, for example, to Ukraine IRIS-T (anti-aircraft missile system – ed.) – one of the most modern air defense systems that is in production, and I hope it arrives at the end of the summer. We are always checking what else can be done to support Ukraine even more,” the minister summed up.
Recall, The Armed Forces of Ukraine are moving to the third stage of the war, a military expert explained what this means.
