Trump rival Nikki Haley supported military aid to Ukraine and criticized Joe Biden.

The United States should provide Ukraine with all the assistance it needs to The American military did not have to fight with the Russian Federation.

This was stated by Nikki Haley, the former US permanent representative to the UN and Trump's competitor for the right to run for president from the Republican Party, ABC News reports.

She criticized the Biden administration, accusing it that the White House tells Americans little why the United States should help Ukraine.

“Joe Biden has never talked to the American people about why Ukraine is important. He never talked to the American people about the terrorist activity going on with Israel and why Iran is so dangerous. He never talked about the threats from China. And when you don't talk about these things with the American people, they are going to distance themselves from this,” explained the US presidential candidate.

Haley is convinced that if Putin takes over Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic countries will be next. And these countries are NATO members.

“This immediately drags America into war. This is what we are trying to avoid. And that is why this aid package (Ukraine – Ed.) is so important. Ukraine is not asking for troops, it is simply asking for equipment and ammunition to win This war. They have a lot of fighting power. We have to give them what they need so they can win, so we can prevent any of our military from being sent to fight,” said Trump's rival.

Recall that on November 16, 2023, US President Joe Biden signed a temporary budget law that does not provide for assistance to Ukraine.

President Biden invited $61 billion from the US Congress to help Ukraine, but the US Congress never made a decision on helping Ukraine.

From February 16, the House of Representatives went on recess until February 28.
