Celebrity casserole in Spielberg! In addition to horsepower legend Gerhard Berger and ski giant Marcel Hirscher, tennis hero Dominic Thiem also made a trip to Formula 1 on Sunday. A black splint “adorned” his right arm – the 27-year-old suffered a tear in his tendon sheath two weeks ago.
Thiem did not come alone, but had girlfriend Lili Paul-Roncalli by his side. The couple turtled in the pit lane, throwing amorous glances at each other over and over again. It was one of the first two appearances together.
How long Thiem will have to pause has not yet been determined. Even for the US Open at the end of August it will be “very, very close,” as the fourth in the world rankings says.
