In the Russian St. Petersburg at the beginning of 2023, the youth club “Vagnerenok” was launched. It was founded on the basis of the PMC Wagner Center.
So, Yevgeny Prigozhin decided to broaden the horizons of Russian youth, writes the publication “Paper”.
It is noted that the main goal of such an organization is to instill in schoolchildren and students “love for the Fatherland.” The publication writes that the curators of the propaganda club are approaching the younger generation under the pretext of proposals to play together with a military drone stimulator. In addition, club members are given lectures on weapon tuning and other militaristic topics.
By the way, pro-Kremlin deputies and security officials become frequent guests of Vagnerenko. In particular, it was visited by State Duma deputies Vasily Vlasov and Maria Butina, pro-government blogger Vitaly Veresk and blogger Yuri Podolyaka.
In addition, special forces Viktor Shmarkovsky was at one of these meetings. He assured the children that he has a unique brain that can withstand any blow “due to the accumulation of fluid in certain areas.” Shmarkovsky positioned himself as “the child of the first atomic bomb” and said that he was able to “radiate delta waves.”
However, the youth of St. Petersburg is not very actively involved in such a club. For example, for the first meeting on January 29, Prigozhin's apostates managed to gather more than 10 people. Moreover, as of March, only 60 people are members of the club.
Recall that Wagner mercenaries go to Russian schools , lecture students about this structure and advertise “contract service.” In particular, on February 27, one of the “Wagnerites” gave a lecture about this structure of the oligarch Yevgeny Prigogine to 10th grade students of Moscow school No. 183.
