The President noted that the number of civilians killed in the occupied areas is still unknown.
Russian officials and state propagandists deny the crimes committed by their army. They say it's staged. They lie in response, even to the obvious facts that convince everyone in the world, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said during an appeal to the Parliament and the people of Lithuania.
“However, nothing surprising. They always did this. But still they changed their tactics in areas where the Russian military is still present. They no longer leave corpses on the streets. They take them out and, probably, burn them. Mass deportations of people from the captured “areas are being carried out there. Hundreds of thousands of people have already been taken out. They are placed in special filtration camps. They take documents. They are interrogated, humiliated. How many people are killed is unknown,” the president said.
