On Unity Day, February 16, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted an active phase of tactical training in the Rivne region as part of the Zametel-2022 command and staff exercises.

During the exercises, options for asymmetric actions were worked out in practice in the conditions of combat in the border zone, including joint actions of resistance forces and units of a mechanized brigade.
In particular, the military used combat aircraft, domestic and foreign unmanned aerial systems, including Bayraktar TV2 , cannon artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, air defense systems, modern anti-tank guided missiles of domestic production Stugna-P , Korsar and provided by our partners. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the servicemen demonstrated a high level of coherence and interaction.
– I would also like to note the effective work of the operational staff at the command post of the mechanized brigade, – added Valery Zaluzhny.
At the same time, at the Poversk aviation training ground in the Volyn region, as part of the Zametil-2022 exercises, tactical aviation of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine worked out.
“ Su-27 and MiG-29 fighters and Su-24M bombers simultaneously launched missile and bomb attacks on columns of enemy armored vehicles and enemy manpower from at least three airfields,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
Aviation means of destruction of various calibers were used: from unguided aircraft missiles to ammunition weighing 500 kg.
