Ukrainian border guards stopped three illegal migrants from Egypt. They were detained in protective medical suits, but none of them was a doctor.
The incident took place on the night of January 15 near the border with Romania in Transcarpathia.
The men did not have any documents with them: at first they even wanted to deceive the border guards, saying that they were heading to the EU from Syria.
In a matter of minutes, it was established that in fact all three were citizens of Egypt, and this was not the first time they had violated the law of Ukraine on crossing the border.
When asked why they wore medical suits over their clothes, the men explained that in this way they hoped to remain unnoticed against the backdrop of snow.
The men were detained literally 50 meters from Romania. Now foreigners will be expected in a Ukrainian court: immediately after the arrest, law enforcement officers drew up administrative protocols.
