The pilots who “heroically” fell on a residential building in Yeysk ejected and survived. Videos of conversations with a surviving pilot are being circulated online.

The video clearly shows the face of the “hero” who did not take the plane away from residential buildings. The pilot was met by locals who helped him “unravel” from the parachute.

The footage shows that the man is conscious. He lies on the road near the crash site and cannot get up. The locals offer to help him and take off his equipment.

In the background, you can hear explosions from detonating ammunition, which the plane was actually transporting.

The pilot is talking to the locals:

– Is everything normal? – Yes. – Shot down, huh? – Not. – C'mon, speak. Whatever you need, we'll help.

It is known that there were two pilots on board and they both survived because they ejected – they chose this route, instead of taking the military aircraft away from residential buildings in order to avoid casualties.

So far, the Russian authorities have officially announced 6 dead and 27 injured. Another 4 people are considered missing.

However, the actual number of victims may be much higher. After all, the high-rise building burned from the first to the ninth floor. At least 17 apartments were engulfed in fire.
