Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine detained Russian informants in Kharkov, Odessa and Severodonetsk. They collected intelligence information for the enemy.

This was reported in the press service of the SBU.

– The work of the Security Service to identify enemy agents and saboteurs continues around the clock. Over the past day (March 12, – Ed.), Several informants were detained who were collecting intelligence information for the occupiers, – said Artem Dekhtyarenko, spokesman for the special services.

• Kharkov region

In the Kharkiv region, it was possible to expose a man who worked for the military intelligence of the aggressor country of Russia. He used the nickname “Nord” for conspiracy.

On the day of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, on February 24, Vadim Sharap, the so-called leader of the “Kharkiv resistance movement,” resumed contact with the attacker. He handed over to the agent of the Russian Federation the task of collecting information about the routes of movement and deployment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the coordinates of infrastructure facilities in Kharkov for launching missile and bomb strikes.

The SBU was able to prevent the transfer of data and detained the traitor in advance.

The spouses in Kharkov were also exposed, who collaborated with the special services of the Russian Federation, helped to correct the shelling and were engaged in propaganda. Both are detained.

– The man helped to correct the shelling by transmitting to the Russian website the GPS coordinates of Kharkiv's critical infrastructure facilities and the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And my wife was engaged in propaganda: she spread appeals in social networks in support of the occupying army and promoted the ideas of a “ruZZ world,” the SBU said.

• Odessa

In this city, the Security Service also exposed a Russian agent. He was recruited by the Russian special services during a visit to the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The key task of the attacker was to collect information about the protective defense structures equipped in the Odessa region by self-defense forces.

“The traitor personally traveled around the environs of Odessa and Chernomorsk, recorded the location of checkpoints, their exact coordinates, the number of persons and military equipment,” the SBU noted.

The attacker also collected information about Russian citizens who joined volunteer battalions as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation.

• Lugansk region

In the Luhansk region, SBU officers detained an informant (a local resident) who helped the Russian troops bomb the city of Severodonetsk.

She kept in touch with a militant of the terrorist group “LPR”.

– He persuaded the woman to collect information about the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, intimidating that otherwise the Russian troops would destroy the entire city with shelling. The woman took to the streets, watched the movement of military equipment, listened to the conversations of the townspeople and then passed it on to the enemy, the secret service said.

Now all the detained Russian agents testify to the SBU. Traitors are in prison.

Recently, the Security Service of Ukraine announced the detention of two Russian informants in the Donetsk region. Another 10 militants of the so-called “LPR” were interrogated. And in the Poltava region, three local residents were detained, who participated in the propaganda campaign of the Russian media and called on the Ukrainian military to go over to the side of the enemy.
