In Croatia, due to the increase in the number of patients with coronavirus, quarantine has been strengthened … The authorities have decided to limit the number of people attending meetings and expand the use of COVID certificates.
This is reported by the Vecernji List.
“While some resisted logical action during the summer, we said,“ People, get vaccinated, you need to prepare for fall. ”Obviously, not everyone succeeded. We just did not contradict any of the above. it is not 100% protection, but protection is very high, which would mean fewer hospitalizations and therefore more access to the healthcare system for everyone else, not just COVID-19 patients. These people cannot be held hostage by those who can help themselves. , and for some reason they haven’t done it yet, ”said Croatian Interior Minister Davor Bozhinovic.
According to the information, the new quarantine restrictions will take effect on November 6. According to the rules, it will be forbidden to hold events in premises with the participation of more than 50 people. An exception is a public event in the open air with strict adherence to epidemic rules. The mandatory use of masks and the observance of a distance of 1.5 m are returned.
There is also a time limit for all public events – they must end no later than 00.00. Wedding ceremonies, where all attendees must have EU digital certificates, must be completed no later than 2 a.m.
Sports competitions can be held in the presence of spectators indoors, if everyone has a COVID certificate. They must also use medical masks.
It is also mandatory for employees of all government agencies to have a COVID certificate.
“Both outdoors and indoors, everyone must have COVID certificates. This solution will enter into force tomorrow … Depending on the epidemiological situation, by November 15, and later, the obligation to have COVID certificates for gyms, swimming pools, as well as restaurants and cafes may be introduced, “Bozhinovic said.
In Croatia, they warned that vaccination, as well as compliance with epidemiological measures is the only way out of the epidemic.
