“These regions need to be ready and look both ways”: which regions should expect a tornado after Tver Forecasters have estimated the probability of a natural phenomenon spreading in Russia.

On August 2, the strongest tornado hit the western regions of the Tver region. The elements swept away everything in its path: roofs of houses, buildings, trees, wires. There are people injured.

“The atmosphere is heating up as a result of the rise in air temperature on planet Earth. This leads to a high energy potential, which generates these incredible powers, the mother hybrid clouds, which are the cause of a tornado with such a kind of rotating vortex, “- Evgeny Tishkovets told about the causes of natural disasters on the air of Komsomolskaya Pravda radio (radiokp.ru), leading specialist of the Phobos weather center.

According to Evgeny Tishkovets, a tornado is characterized by a speed of up to 500 km / h. A person falling into a funnel with a diameter of several hundred meters leads to death. The reason for this lies in the pressure difference. It is several hundred hectopascals.

Evgeny Tishkovets also gave a forecast for the regions: the most dangerous cold front goes to the Volga region. There is a high probability of heavy rains, thunderstorms, hail, increased squally winds, and focal tornadoes.

“First the Volga region, then the Cis-Urals, the Urals, the Trans-Urals. Basically the Kirov region, the Volgo-Vyatka region, the Perm region, the Sverdlovsk region with a transition to the south of the Tyumen region. These regions need to be prepared and look both ways, ”the specialist concluded.
