A video of the attack on the Russian figure skater Dmitry Solovyov, who stood up for his girlfriend, curler Anna Sidorova, appeared on the network. The video was published by the Baza edition.

The video was filmed by a surveillance camera. According to Baza, Sidorova and Soloviev were at a Moscow karaoke club on Veskovsky Lane.

After the beating, Solovyov was hospitalized. The Olympic champion is in the neurosurgical department of the Botkin Hospital. He has a severe head injury.

Soloviev is known for his performances in ice dancing paired with Ekaterina Bobrova. They became Olympic champions in 2014, and won silver at the competition in Pyeongchang.
