~6 0~p>Several European countries were left without power due to a large-scale interconnector failure in Montenegro.

In Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and across much of Croatia's Adriatic coast, where temperatures rose to 40 degrees, there was a power outage.

This is reported by Reuters.

“Almost the entire territory of Montenegro was left without electricity due to network outages,” reported local network company CEDIS.

In particular, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sarajevo and Banja Luka and Mostar were left without electricity. Local media reported a nationwide blackout.

Croatia's energy company HEP said the blackout in parts of the country was caused by “international outages that affected several countries.”

Most of Croatia's Adriatic coast was also left without electricity, state television HRT reported. It is noted that traffic in the coastal city of Split stopped after traffic lights stopped working. Ambulance sirens could be heard throughout the city.

The Albanian television company Top Channel reported that electricity had disappeared in a number of cities, including the capital Tirana. The cause of the power outage was a faulty connection line in Montenegro.

Recall that in Kyiv on June 19, children were stuck on the rides due to a sudden blackout. The incident occurred in the Blockbuster shopping center on S. Bandera Avenue.
