A fight between two participants in a pankration tournament in Moscow, who gave free rein to their hands outside the competition area, turned into a real “machach” when fans of one of the athletes.

The audience decided to support their fighter not only with invigorating exclamations from the stands. They ran out to the competition area and staged a mass brawl.
President of the Pankration Federation of the Russian Federation Konstantin Klimov explained to the publication that this incident occurred due to the lack of culture of fans who were very worried about their athletes and jumped over barriers. He noted that such skirmishes sometimes occur between athletes, but without the participation of fans.
The federation thought about preventing similar situations.
Recall that the International Automobile Federation (FIA) disqualified the 15-year-old Russian rider Artem Severyukhin, who competes under the Italian flag due to sanctions against athletes from the Russian Federation.
