In the six-story hotel building of the Butterfly complex in Vinnytsia region, where a fire broke out on the night of December 22, there was a taekwondo athletes gathering.
Among the evacuees was Nikita, the son of Vitaly Pavlovsky, a journalist from the Vinnitsa edition of 20 Khilin.
– The trainer told me about the fire. According to him, the pupils were evacuated on time. They are all safe and sound, – says Vitaly Pavlovsky.
Now the children were placed in a safe place and fed breakfast, but where exactly is not yet known.
Young athletes lived on the fifth floor of the hotel.

The message about the fire in the hotel on the territory of the Butterfly complex in Vinnitsa region was received on December 22 at 02.55 .
Prior to the arrival of the State Emergency Service units, 56 people were evacuated from the premises, including 53 children aged five to 15 years.
To contain the fire, which covered 900 sq. m of roof, rescuers managed at 05.09, to liquidate – at 05.26.
46 employees of the State Emergency Service and 14 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
According to preliminary information from the National Police , during the fire, three people jumped out of the window.
One girl died from the received injuries. Another 19-year-old girl and a 43-year-old man are hospitalized in the hospital.
The police have already opened criminal proceedings under the article Violation of fire safety requirements established by law.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment of up to eight years imprisonment.
