Ruben Brekelmans did not announce his visit to Ukraine.
Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans visited Kharkiv on October 6 during an unannounced visit to Ukraine and made a statement on Ukraine's defense against RF.
The head of the Dutch Ministry of Defense wrote about this after he saw the destruction of Kharkov.
“I saw the consequences of destructive Russian shelling. Apartments destroyed. Power outages. How children study in bunkers. Ukraine can protect itself from this in only one way – by keeping Russia at a greater distance,” the minister said.
Recall that Brekelmans previously announced the delivery of a radar system to Ukraine for the Patriot air defense system. According to him, three more launchers should be delivered soon.
Recall that earlier it became known that the United States welcomed the decision to appoint the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte to the post of NATO Secretary General.
