We need not just to recruit people, but what they need someone to command – starting from lower-level commanders.

The main problem with mobilization in the Russian Federation is the understaffing of non-commissioned officers – squad commanders.

About this, the ex-speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participant in numerous peacekeeping operations in different countries, military expert Vladislav Voloshin told the Obozrevatel publication.

“Junior officers are platoon and company commanders. And with them, Russia has a huge shortage, to mobilize such and staff precisely these positions – very difficult.Because these are sergeants and officers, they must have military training, military education, they must be ready to command and manage those parts. And this will be a problem. To recruit cannon fodder is not a matter of ordering at enterprises, and up to the point that they will be caught on the streets and sent to the army. But this is a very risky path – there may be social explosions,” the expert noted.

Recall that on September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on partial mobilization. According to Shoigu, as part of the mobilization, it is planned to recruit 300 thousand .person.
