British defense minister Ben Wallace believes that there is a real threat of the spread of hostilities beyond the borders of Ukraine.
He noted that now “the most direct and urgent security threat in Europe” is Russia.
About this, Wallace said at a press conference on Tuesday, European Pravda reports.
“In recent years, the threat from states has begun to grow. It's just that now Russia is the most direct and urgent threat to our allies and us. And I'm quite serious I say that there is a very real danger that Russia will challenge other territories in Europe, but in the days of long-range missiles and covert operations of races standing no longer provides protection,” he stressed.
Wallace added that not only Russia poses a threat, but other countries such as China, Iran.
< p>“Resolute China, which is ready to challenge the rule-based system and democracy; terrorism that has gripped Africa, Iran's nuclear ambitions have not yet been resolved – the threat is growing,” the British Minister of Defense emphasized.
Recall that the Russian Federation openly threatened to launch missile attacks on the “decision-making centers” of the Alliance member countries.
